I am so glad you’re here!
Let’s be friends! 🙂 I am Allessia DeMartini, born and raised in a small town in Bavaria, Germany. Traveling to different countries from a young age on has allowed me to see and learn from people and their cultures. After I finished University with a degree in communications and politics, I knew I was not called to live an ordinary life, only pursuing a career and earthly possessions. I spent a couple months in a mission school in Mozambique, Africa which changed my life forever. I flew with a team of missionaries to Thailand afterwards to work with local anti-trafficking organizations, and I ended up meeting my husband Billy who is from San Francisco. We got married in my home town, went back to Thailand, gave birth to a beautiful girl, moved to San Francisco and we have been living her since then. My life has been a constant transition and change, filled with surprises. I spent a whirlwind 3 years having 2 beautiful daughters, and I have the privilege of staying home with them for those little years. They are also partially the reason of why I am doing what I am doing. I loved to write since I was a little girl. I remember sitting down at my desk in my room at the end of every day and start writing in my diary about the highlights of my day, my feelings, and whatever else came to my mind. Up to this point (when I am not busy running after my girls ;)), I am still journaling. It helps me process and think over things in my life. With this website I let you in into the journey of my life and hope to inspire, empower and encourage you! Let’s get started, shall we?
